Join the Extension/4-H Team at Seward County! We are hiring for an Extension Intern. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a variety of skills.
The Extension Intern position is a temporary unpaid part-time position (up to 10 hours/week). This position’s primary duties include providing support to the 4-H Afterschool program in Seward County by leading and teaching 4-H Afterschool clubs and 4-H out-of-school learning experiences. In addition, the Extension Intern will assist Extension Educators and Assistants serving Seward County, including, but not limited to preparation of Extension programs, gathering supplies, assisting with registration, and promotion.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Computer knowledge with Word, Excel, Publisher, and web-based programs
- Valid driver’s license
- Must not be on the Sex Offender Registry or Central Registry
